THE KNIGHTS OF COLUMBUS PRINCETON COUNCIL #636

The Knights of Columbus is a fraternal organization of Catholic men who derive a sense of satisfaction from being able to develop lasting friendships with each other while helping others who are less fortunate. The strength of the Knights lies in the fact that they are a family, church and community-oriented organization offering members and their families a wide variety of activities with people who share the same beliefs and values. The K of C hosts a variety of social, recreational, charitable, service and religious activities with others who recognize the same duty to God, to family and their neighbors, both near and far.

The Princeton Council was founded in 1906 and is one of the oldest in NJ, with 90 members from St. Paul’s and surrounding parishes. Activities have included a parish-wide Communion Breakfast, Mother’s Day Rose Sale, basketball free-throw and essay contests for the youth, Advent Wreath workshop, children’s Easter Egg Hunt, a family Trenton Thunder game, fund-raisers for the disadvantaged, and a council picnic. The Knights could use help with any one of these activities and are open to new ideas. They do not demand a lot of time, but the work they do together does a tremendous amount of good at St. Paul’s and elsewhere. If you believe in the importance of investing your time in friendship, the Church and helping others, the K of C is for you.
