March For Life 2015

Our council, 636 and Lawrence Council 7000 sponsored a bus trip to the March For Life in D.C. Thirty two people went on to the march. Here are some photos from the peaceful event.

Why we march

…as you know, our 2015 theme is “Every Life is a Gift.”  That means your life is a gift to this world and you can make a difference in your community for our culture of life! Now that we’ve finished marching, we want to encourage you to “give the gift of life” by participating in one pro-life activity every month of the year.  Take our Give Life Challenge, and together we can impact our country for life so that one day, we no longer have to march.

“Keep Christ in Christmas” Magnets For Sale

We just finished a successful fundraiser which will allow us to continue our charitable works. We sold 194 magnets over the weekend with sales totaling $970.

Magnets are still available for sale at $5 each.

The advent wreath workshop was a success!  We raised $393.56. We sold 4 pre-made wreaths ($20 each), 14 advent calendars ($4 each) and 10
lawn signs  ($1 each). Total goodwill donations were $247.56. All the parishioners were generous and enjoyed the workshop!
